The College for Community and Organization Development is the partner for IOD in Africa. CCOD currently offers classroom programs throughout Ghana and Nigeria, Botswana, Kenya and South Africa.

Gabriel Gbiel Benarkuu, Ph.D, is the President of CCOD, Africa. He is a Community and Organisation Development Specialist with emphasis in Community Medicine, Organisational Development and Appreciative Leadership (A New Emerging Field). Gabriel has over 17 years of practice and has made significant contribution to the field of Organisation Development (OD), Appreciative Leadership Model (ALM) and as well as Organisational Retreat Model (GAB’s Retreat Model); a therapeutic model for people and system transformation. He made major contributions to Effectiveness of workplaces in Organisations in Africa especially in Civil Society (NGOs) and Private sector development. He has consulted to and worked with over 250 non-profit organisations in Africa, 155 Small and Medium size private businesses and, have provided development services to over 40 Municipals/ Districts Assemblies in Ghana. Gabriel has also specialized in OD curriculum development and, the first African scholar to produce a Bachelor Degree in Organisational Development (BSc OD).

The Caribbean Centre for Organization Development Excellence (CARI-CODE) is the partner for IOD in the Caribbean. CARI-CODE offers custom designed Development Interventions, mainly to Caribbean organisations of all types and sizes, in both public and private sectors

Ilsa H. duVerney a Certified Organisation Development Process Consultant is Founder/Chairman/CEO of Caribbean Centre for Organisation Development Excellence Limited (CARI-CODE). For twenty-five years she served as Managing Director of Productivity Plus Limited, a Jamaican Human Resource Development company which she started. She holds degrees from the University of the West Indies (BA 1985) Communication & Social Sciences and the University of Cincinnati (MA 1995) in collaboration with NTL-National Training Laboratories –Institute for Applied Behavioural Sciences, Psychology and Human Resources Development. She has been an adjunct University Lecturer and is a trained trainer through the Industrial Society (England) and Training House (USA).  She is a Certified Work Team Coach and is trained in Extended DISC behavioural assessments. She has designed and facilitated several workshops in the Caribbean region. for educators, trainers, managers  and line personnel and she has led the gamut of Human Resource Projects.  A receipient of prestigious awards, She has served on several Boards/Councils and for years she wrote on HRD issues in the Business section of Jamaica’s Daily Gleaner (newspaper). She is a Justice of the Peace.
