Judy Vogel, M.A., OD Consultant

Is a Partner in Vogel Glaser & Associates, LLC located in Columbia, MD and Fort Lauderdale, FL. She has been an external OD consultant since 1987, before which she was Director of OD and HRD for several corporations and large non-profits.

She specializes in organization design and mergers, executive coaching, team realignment, conflict resolution and assisting HR professionals to be effective internal business partners.

Judy is on the instructional team for American University’s MSOD program and is Coordinator of the Learning Community Time’s Facilitators for each cohort of learners. She is an Emerita member of NTL Institute. Judy has published many articles in the OD Practitioner and is a member of the Editorial Review Board. Currently, she is Special Co-Editor of the Spring, 2017 issue on “The Difference We Make: Demonstrating the Impact of Organization Development.”

Is an executive coach and organization development consultant. He is a partner of Vogel/Glaser & Associates, LLC. located both in Columbia, Maryland and in Fort Lauderdale, FL. With thirty years of experience, his specialty is coaching technical leaders who seek to improve their interpersonal, leadership and team effectiveness. Drawing on his study and practice of meditation since 1971, he teaches stress management, self-awareness and presence to build leadership and interpersonal success.

David earned a MA in City and Regional Planning from Pratt Institute and a MS in Applied Behavioral Science from Johns Hopkins University. He has been a member and presenter at the OD Network, South Florida ODN, and Chesapeake Bay ODN, where he was also on the Board of Directors. He is a professional member and trainer for NTL Institute and on the instructional team for American University’s MSOD.

My expertise and passion are in facilitating growth in individuals and organizations to bring about positive changes in the areas of communication, leadership development, and performance improvement. I coach people to become more effective communicators, presenters, and public speakers, and transform their messages into memorable and impactful presentations.

I have been trained as a Brain-Based Coach and a Results System Coach through the NeuroLeadership Institute. In my practice, I draw upon the latest neuroscience research to drive meaningful and long-lasting results for my clients. My days are busy with being an Assistant Professor in the Organizational Learning and Leadership graduate program at Barry University and the founder of GrowthWired LLC, a consulting company with the mission to improve individual, team, and organizational performance through science-based interventions.

My clients are national industry-leading companies in homebuilding, healthcare, and financial services, including Lennar Corporation, Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc., and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

With active membership in a number of professional organizations, including the NeuroLeadership Institute, International Coach Federation, Academy of Human Resource Development, and Association for Talent Development, I continuously facilitate my own personal and professional growth.

Is a Management Consultant who has specialised for over 35 years in Organisational Development in both the private and public sectors in Jamaica. With an MSc in Applied Behavioural Science from Johns Hopkins University, she brought to her early civil service employment the skills to assist in administrative reform programmes. She subsequently was a lecturer in a UWI/Johns Hopkins Masters degree programme in Jamaica that translated the Applied Behavioral programme to the Jamaican context. Her ongoing employment and consultancies continued over the years to speak to this passion for transformational change in the structuring and implementation of government programmes. She maintained this focus on the importance of organisational development in her extensive work in designing, developing and delivering training programmes that address structural and project administration for Ministries (e.g. Education, Health, Labour and Social Services) and other non-government institutions (e.g. University of the West Indies, the hotel Industry, private sector entities ). This work has included areas of customer service, leadership skills development, conflict management, strategic planning, cross-cultural understanding, interpersonal relations and team building.

Marva is committed to integrated approaches to engaging management, line staff, consumers and the general public in effectively changing management culture to achieve national objectives. 


Selen Turner

Has over 14 years of professional experience in various aspects of Management, Human Resources and Organizational Development. Selen has consulted with teams, worked directly with leadership teams and worked as an internal consultant at Fortune 500, global organizations and non-profit organizations.

Selen’s passion and experience lies in the development and alignment of systems, strategy development and execution, design of various talent management systems and processes.

Selen has earned an MBA with specialization in Management from Barry University after earning Bachelor's of Arts in Italian Language and Literature from the University of Ankara in Turkey. She is currently part of  Carnival Cruise Line HR Team as Organizational Effectiveness Lead. Selen also served in many roles on the Board of Directors of ATD South Florida Chapter including serving as the President in 2016.


Ilsa duVerney, CARICODE

She holds degrees from the University of the West Indies (BA 1985) Communication with Social Sciences and the University of Cincinnati (MA 1995) in collaboration with National Training Laboratories (NTL) –Institute for Applied Behavioural Sciences, Psychology and Human Resources Development. Mrs. duVerney also served as an adjunct Instructor/Lecturer at three Universities in Jamaica (UWI and CAST now UTECH) and University College of the Caribbean. She also trained at the island’s leading Training Institutions, The Institute of Management and Production, The Jamaica Institute of Management & JAMPRO.

She has over 25 years experience in Human Resource Development. Mrs. duVerney trained as a trainer through the Industrial Society (England), Training House (USA) and JIDC, (JAMPRO) and NTL. She is a certified Work Team Coach and is trained in Extended DISC behavioural assessments. She has designed and facilitated several workshops for educators and trainers in the Caribbean region and has been given an award for creating opportunities in HRD by the University of Cincinnati/NTL/JATAD for bringing the first HRD Masters programme to the Caribbean.

She is the 2012 recipient of the Woman of Excellence Award from her Alma Mater Convent of Mercy Academy – Alpha High. Mrs. duVerney was also the driving force behind the formation of the Jamaica Association for Training and Development (JATAD) now the Human Resource Management Association of Jamaica (HRMAJ).

She is a former JATAD Board Chairman and is a recipient of the JATAD Pioneer Outstanding Contribution Award. In 2001 she founded the Jamaica Customer Service Association (JaCSA) and was a pioneer facilitator in the Association’s offering of the International Certification Programme with a Caribbean Perspective through the International Customer Service Association, Rockhurst University and JaCSA. She has served on the Boards of Stony Hill HEART Academy, Convent of Mercy Academy Alpha and the Churches Co-operative Credit Union (now First Heritage Cooperative Credit Union). She served as Chairman of the JaCSA Board from (2003-2014). She has successfully facilitated strategic retreats and processes and has developed several Managers, Supervisors/Leaders, Trainers, Facilitators, Customer Service and other Personnel.

For years she wrote on HRD issues in the Business section of the Daily Gleaner. She has worked in several islands in the Caribbean and has led proactively, the gamut of Human Resource Projects in several organisations. She has facilitated sessions in Floridafor the Institute of Organisation Development and has been a presenter at their International Conference. She is a Certified Organisation Development Consultant and has given several motivational talks. She spent many years as a volunteer and also served for years on the Council of the Association for Children who were mentally challenged now Jamaica Association on Intellectual Disabilities (JAID). She is committed to works of Mercy and is a Mercy Associate. Ilsa enjoys having the opportunity to serve. She considers her work to be “worship.” She is very family oriented, enjoys gardening and is passionate about national development.

Mercedes Martin, Ashton212

Mercedes Martin, Business and Leadership consultant, Leadership Development Coach, and international speaker brings verve and new light to the topics of business transformation, disruption, and innovation.

Including global leaders brought together via mergers and acquisitions .

A graduate of the University of Miami, Mercedes holds a Masters Degree in Leadership Development from University of San Francisco. Peteula M. Gayle, CARICODE

Peteula Gayle, Training Officer and Business Partner, has over 23 years of experience in the field of Human Resource Management and Development. She currently coordinates and facilitates training and development programmes for management and staff at the Bank of Jamaica. She has played an integral role in the development and execution of the Central Bank’s Organization Development Certification Programme in 2015 and the Inaugural Graduates Opportunity for Learning and Development (GOLD) Programme in 2016 which involved a structured approach to recruitment and training by developing the relevant skills to enhance the participants’ integration in the corporate world. She holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Management Studies and Human Resource Development (honours) from the University of the West Indies, Mona and a Master of Business Administration Degree from the University of New Orleans, USA. Miss Gayle is the Vice President – Finance of the Caribbean Organisation Development Network (CODN) and an affiliate of the Caribbean Centre for Organisation Development Excellence (CARI-CODE). She is driven by her passion for Organisation Development and believes in creating a healthy working environment to effectively develop and manage talents for the success of the organisation. She has contributed significantly, as Vice President of the Junior Chamber International – Jamaica, to the personal and professional development of the members by coordinating and conducting training sessions on Report Writing, Parliamentary Procedures, Image Enhancement, Stress Management, Communication and Public Speaking.
